Mobas, the Cambridge-based advertising agency has been appointed by PEM Corporate Finance, part of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers, Peters Elworthy & Moore (PEM), after winning a competitive pitch.

Mobas will be working with the corporate finance division, who are calling on Mobas’s expertise in branding. The corporate finance team will be involved in brand positioning workshops driven and hosted by Mobas. Their new identity will be rolled out through new corporate literature later this year.

In addition to brand development work, Mobas will be designing their new website which will benefit from a refreshed identity but also Mobas’ content management system, giving the corporate finance team full control of the content of their site.

Mobas is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Account Manager to the Client Service team.

Greg Bryant has joined the company from one of London’s leading media agencies where he worked as part of the broadcast department planning and booking television advertising for some of the company’s major clients.

Greg has extensive account handling experience working for six years within Donovan Data Systems, a supplier of one of the advertising industry’s major planning and buying tools. Accounts he managed include some of the largest media agencies and television broadcasters in the country such as GMTV, ITV and Channel 4.

His academic background includes qualifications in Design and in Advertising & Marketing.

He said “I’m really excited about having the opportunity to enhance the client service being offered to clients by Mobas. I am looking forward to adding my skills and style to an already well established team”.

Advertising agency Mobas has been appointed by Accor Paris to produce the global advertising campaign for Novotel Hotels.

Mobas is leading the creative for all concepts which will then be adopted by local advertising agencies worldwide, including those in Europe and Asia. The creative will be a mix of global brand awareness adverts and more local adaptable tactical product-focused advertising specific to each country.

Mobas will be providing each territory with comprehensive guidelines to ensure that the creative and the communication of each concept can be presented in a consistent and engaging manner.

The first of the adverts will be launched in February 2008.

Mobas has been appointed to work on a new digital marketing initiative for Transversal.

Transversal (Cambridge UK) is the UK’s leading provider of multi-channel e-service solutions for customer-facing websites and contact centres. Their blue chip customer base includes Direct Line, JP Morgan, Sony PlayStation, Fujifilm, Unilever and MFI.
