Cambridge-based advertising agency appoints Kim Bithel

Public Relations graduate, Kim Bithel, joins the expanding Cambridgeshire company as Account Manager with the primary role of assisting in the development and management of one of the agency’s largest leisure accounts. Kim’s pivotal position will also encompass branding, design and interactive platforms.

Cambridge agency clinches pan-European account

Following last year’s global advertising success, Novotel has once again turned to the talents of Mobas for its second major pan-European online banner campaign.

Leading Cambridge based agency Mobas has conceived, created and managed a web banner campaign aimed at generating more room-nights for Novotel throughout Europe.

Individually tailored to particular destinations with a focus on the family, leisure and business markets, Mobas took on the creative challenge to ensure each banner is appealing and understandable to a pan-European audience and directed the roll-out across seven languages culminating in around 300 bespoke banners.

The family and leisure banners appear on leading European travel sites including; Viamichelin, Time Out, Easy Voyages, Trip Advisor, Adconion, Elle and France 24. Mobas has also created banners with a strong B2B focus for sites such as Linked in.

The Fidavet range currently comprises two new products: Perloquan®, a natural remedy to help ease joint pain in dogs; and Cavalesse® , a natural product used to give horses a healthy skin when out to grass during the summer months. Mobas is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Account Manager to the Client Service team.

Greg Bryant has joined the company from one of London’s leading media agencies where he worked as part of the broadcast department planning and booking television advertising for some of the company’s major clients.

Greg has extensive account handling experience working for six years within Donovan Data Systems, a supplier of one of the advertising industry’s major planning and buying tools. Accounts he managed include some of the largest media agencies and television broadcasters in the country such as GMTV, ITV and Channel 4.

His academic background includes qualifications in Design and in Advertising & Marketing.

He said “I’m really excited about having the opportunity to enhance the client service being offered to clients by Mobas. I am looking forward to adding my skills and style to an already well established team”.

Advertising agency Mobas has been appointed by Accor Paris to produce the global advertising campaign for Novotel Hotels.

Mobas is leading the creative for all concepts which will then be adopted by local advertising agencies worldwide, including those in Europe and Asia. The creative will be a mix of global brand awareness adverts and more local adaptable tactical product-focused advertising specific to each country.

Mobas will be providing each territory with comprehensive guidelines to ensure that the creative and the communication of each concept can be presented in a consistent and engaging manner.

The first of the adverts will be launched in February 2008.
